(Group101 SF) Group 101 in San Francisco is launching version 2.0 of their website after two years in operation. Check it out and submit your feedback here!

Group101 collaborates on runway fashion video and documentary
(Group101 SF) Group101SF has joined forces with MNOP Productions on the latest in a series of high-fashion nightclub events in San Francisco. Tactility - Full Fashion is an all-night party culminating in a runway fashion show, and features spring clothing by several hip, Bay Area fashion designers. The promoters at MNOP had again outdone themselves by landing a prime spot at Mezzanine, the newest and most talked-about nightclub in San Francisco, where house, breakbeat, and drum and bass music spun by six headliner DJ's underscored the evening. Group101 not only provided full video coverage of the event, but also collaborated on a behind-the-scenes mini-documentary, following the event planners, DJ's, fashion designers and models in the weeks leading up to the show. Group101 celebrates 1000 films
(Group101 LA) It's screening time again and this time Group101 LA is celebrating their three year anniversary and the creation of over 1000 original short films! AMC TV and Filmmakers Alliance are presenting our 1K Film Fest at one of the most prestigious venues in Hollywood, The Egyptian Theater. Come have a drink at the complimentary reception, settle into the cushy chairs of the beautiful Egyptian Theater and watch the very best of the recent films to come out of our insanely productive monthly filmmaking collective.

AMC TV broadcasts Group101 films
(Group101 LA) AMC TV and legendary horror film director JOHN CARPENTER were looking for the next crop of great horror film directors. So they came to Group101 Films LA and asked them to create a few original short horror films for their annual MONSTERFEST broadcast in October. Eight weeks later they handed to them over 40. Between Friday October 25 and Thursday October 31, AMC TV aired over 30 original short films created by Group101 filmmakers and selected by AMC and John Carpenter for their weeklong MONSTERFEST broadcast. Also, John Carpenter selected his 15 favorites and put them together in a special half-hour presentation which aired at midnight on Halloween night with Carpenter hosting.
