group101 San Francisco Registration

Welcome to the member registration page. New members will be accepted to join group101sf as of March 10th. The application deadline is March 1st.

Group101 invites and encourages everyone to be a member whether you are a first time filmmaker or a seasoned professional. You need nothing but the desire to grow as a filmmaker and assist your fellow members in their growth. You are required to write a Statement of Intent that illustrates what you hope to achieve in your six-month session, and your group members will hold you to that statement!

All potential members are required to attend the group101 orientation (about 1 hour) on Tuesday March 8th at 7pm at Film Arts in San Francisco (get directions here). Upon acceptance, you will be required to pay a $35 membership fee for the 6-month membership term. All members are required to make a short film based on the monthly theme for 6 consecutive months. Any missed themes and you're out for one complete wave and must reapply (extenuating circumstances may apply).
